AntISOcial

AntISOcial is an interactive and sensorial installation simulating the period of home isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic in Melbourne.

AntISOcial grants space for the public to rehabilitate, renew habitual response, encourage observation and embrace impermanence.

Consisting of 5 domestically set rooms within a larger void, timed access allows one person to move through the installation independently and at their own pace.

A curation of elements: domestic objects, acoustic treatment, controlled lighting and clever carpentry carefully alter the perception of each room as you move through.
This piece encourages the audience to discard 'baggage' within the final stage of the installation.
