Giorgia Stefania is a multi-disciplinary artist practicing on Wudjari Noongar land. She acknowledges the Wudjari people as the Traditional Owners and custodians of the land where she currently resides, creates, and grows. She recognizes and honors their eternal connection to land, water, and culture, and pays her respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.
Working across visual art, sculpture, film photography, stage lighting, and scenic design, Giorgia's practice is informed by conceptual thinking around social psychology and theatrical exploration. Forever inspired by ethnobotany and 90's techno, she believes that the curation of color, texture, and movement invites a dynamic interpersonal conversation with the viewer.
